Yeah. I'm a genius. Time for a new custom rank?
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

The best way to describe my feelings towards Gabbert right now: I have a Blainer.

I have a Gabboner.

Thank god we had a football player lined up at wide receiver.

Gave up a 93 and 75 yard run tonight. Uggggggggh.

Egnew appears to be a beast and has solved my concerns about the TE position. We still can't run the ball for [expletive]. Gotta do better than 89 yards against a team like SD State.

It seems like they ran the ball effectively (high ypc and a few big gains) but not very often. But then, that's completely based on the box score.

The 23 carry/235 yd day by that Hillman kid is frightening.

Well, it looks like the 3 RBs combined for 19 for right at 100, which isn't terrible but I think you have to do better against a team you should have a pretty big physical edge over. Gabbert wasn't really on his A game so you need to have a backup plan. Like you said, their production wasn't too bad so it might be bad play calling.

I'm not sure what to think about Hillman's line without seeing video. On the one hand, almost all of his damage came on two plays so they weren't consistently bad against the run. On the other hand, a lot of things have to go wrong to give up two long runs like that and the defense is still giving up too many big plays to expect to beat good teams.

Also known as 21 carries/60 some yards and two flukish uber-runs.

Of all the games to attend, geez. Today would have been a super crappy day if Moe hadn't done that.

QFT! Not the biggest, fastest or strongest guy out there, but he always seems to be in the middle of big things.

Nice contrast with the WR clowns you see elsewhere in college and the NFL who seem more concerned with looking cool for the highlight shows than they are in doing stuff right and winning football games.
