You're standing up for what you believe, not forcing anything on people. If that was the case no one could ever vote on anything because they'd be forcing their beliefs on others. In fact, that's WHY we vote, so that each person's stance can be accounted for.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:I'm all for killing people that have undoubtedly killed others. What's the alternative? I'm against abortion, though I don't really think it should be illegal. I don't really feel it's my place to force my interpretations or beliefs on others.
So, because I'm pro-life, pro-capital punishment, you think I'm a hypocrite? Which of my positions do you disagree with?

I never said I wouldn't vote for someone I agree with on political issues, nor did I say no one should. I just don't think it's my place to force my religous beliefs on others.letsgocards89 wrote:You're standing up for what you believe, not forcing anything on people. I think taxes should be lower and will vote to get someone elected that agrees with me. That's my prerogative. Yet, I won't vote for someone because they are saying abortion is bad and we need to overturn roe v wade.
I just think that the religous right gets a little too carried away sometimes with cramming what they think is right down others throats. Just like I think some politicians get a little too carried away in cramming what they think is right down my throat.

How to make "America Respectable" again?
He has answers to all of those questions. Answers that satisfy you? I'm assuming that they won't...... just a hunch. But don't say he doesn't have answers.

(Even though I have the same views as mentioned yesterday, I am joking.)

i'd hate to break it to you...but taxes will never go down...too much money being made. if they cut programs, money just get shifted to other parts. if they give tax breaks, more than likely other parts of the tax code increases to make up for the difference.
politicians never give up money
what they need is for someone to go through the budget and be vicious...but neither candidate will do that...too many people are making too much money off of it.

I agree, sadly. And, was just using taxes because it's pretty far away from being a religous issue.TimeForGuinness wrote:what they need is for someone to go through the budget and be vicious...but neither candidate will do that...too many people are making too much money off of it.

Health Care:
Supports universal health care for all current and former POWs.
Abortion:
Would strongly oppose any legislation that would allow fetuses to be removed from the womb, fed only watery rice porridge, and physically and mentally tortured for months on end.
Iraq War:
"The United States should no longer act as the world's police but instead as the world's stripper, dressed as the police."
Immigration:
Supports a path to legalization because Latinos are one of the few ethnic groups that don't appear in the senator's recurring nightmares.
