In 1983-84, with 25 teams, the NBA shot, wait for it, 75% from the free throw line.

It was definitely different, I would tune in a Celtics game circa 1970 in a second to watch. I watched a little bit of the Nuggets game last night, and other than perhaps the sissiest looking court and uniforms I have ever seen, that is a fun team to watch. I'm really appreciating the athleticism of these new players.

4) Women Tennis
5) Gymnastics (Women only)

2.) Great football matchup, college or pro
3.) Blues
4.) Penn State football
5.) Great baseball matchup
6.) Good NFL matchup
7.) Good college football matchup
8.) Purdue basketball (this would be higher if they were better lately)

Give Matt Painter a year....last season was a wonderful turnaround, and as this year's talented frosh mature, the days when Mackey Arena is as loud and as passionate as any basketball venue anywhere will return....

Also, as the Mackey Arena renovation project takes hold, it will certainly help the renaissance of Purdue hoops to its historic position at the top of the Big Ten.

The level of play in college is getting pretty bad if you ask me. I dunno if it's the guys coming out early or what.

But the students jumping and cheering the whole game and the college atmosphere is cute.

Wow, what the hell happened to the LA Lakers? I just watched Luke Walton or somebody try to force a pass from the wing to the other wing with the defense in a 3-2 zone. He was trying to throw it up over his shoulder like he was playing NBA Live.
