How do yah feel about Issy and his closing out games?

Post by kwpfunk1955 »

 I think it's about time we consider a "NEW" CLOSER. Issy has been my main man in 2-two or less Innings. He's in my opinion have loss some steam, selection of pitches have also become suspect. A very hitable guy right now, I know he's a slow starter but he make closing out very difficult. I view every game, let's continue to support and cheer Issy on but also keep close tabs on his prodution. "PEACE BE UNTO YOU"

It was a tough loss but I'm not ready to give up on Izzy.

He's been better as of late, except for last night of course. I say keep him in there for now.

The Cards don't need another closer. These things happen.

Izzy on mound = whiskey in glass. (For me, at least.) :puke:

Sometimes I like it, and sometimes I don't.

He didn't pitch well last night, but let's face it. Were it not for a play that Rolen makes 999 times out of 1000, he's got another save (albeit a lucky one).

That doesn't negate your point - it's a valid debate - but right now I'm with Michael - not ready to give up on Izzy yet.

My thoughts exactly! We have it pretty good as Cards Fans and tend to panic at the first hint of something wrong-myself included.

It's one loss

Okay, I just really wanted to post that picture
