I listened to games on the radio a lot when I was a kid. I like Rooney and Horton all right but they are no Jack Buck Mike Shannon.
Agree. I do mlb audio when I’m driving. They’re okay, but I grew up listening to some combination of Harry & Jack & Mike and that’s a pretty high bar.
Agreed.

That win takes a little sting out of the Mariners series. Especially within the division. Great pitching and clutch offense.

Fermin has really grown on me (as a bench option). JJ is the future. Pages still sucks, but great job getting it started.

Now I have to listen to every game on audio until we lose again.

I had old man Shannon growing up who was fun but could miss a lot and make the game really slow.

Rooney and Horton are caricatures of broadcasters. It's a tad cheesy for me, but is good for listening to a game you can't see.

When I couldn't watch games a couple years ago, I liked listening to the other team's broadcast. It's fun hearing other teams give their perspectives on our players.
Late 90's and early 2000's Shannon needs to be recreated in AI form. He was so good during that era.

I’m enjoying watching the Cardinals for the first time in 3 years. I appreciate the fight in this team.
