First home runs given up by Santana this season and the first time the Cardinals have scored at PNC Park in 36 innings

Bases loaded for Fermin and he doubles in the go ahead runs. 4-2 St. Louis lead

I listened to games on the radio a lot when I was a kid. I like Rooney and Horton all right but they are no Jack Buck Mike Shannon.

Sounds like someone has been hitting the Iron City vendor pretty hard

Agree. I do mlb audio when I’m driving. They’re okay, but I grew up listening to some combination of Harry & Jack & Mike and that’s a pretty high bar.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑April 27 26, 7:11 pmI listened to games on the radio a lot when I was a kid. I had old man Shannon growing up who was fun but could miss a lot and make the game really slow.Radbird wrote: ↑April 27 26, 7:16 pmAgree. I do mlb audio when I’m driving. Rooney and Horton are caricatures of broadcasters. It's a tad cheesy for me, but is good for listening to a game you can't see.
When I couldn't watch games a couple years ago, I liked listening to the other team's broadcast. It's fun hearing other teams give their perspectives on our players.
