Plus Kyrou is prettyGeddyWrox wrote: ↑November 3 25, 3:24 pmKyrou's NTC kicked in back in July. He'd have to approve any possible trades. And, if you're into advanced metrics, his Corsi and Fenwick scores seem to indicate he's doing a much better job the last couple of years. I'm not sure he's the problem, but if we could get something of relative equal value in return, a change of scenery might be good.

Kyrou brings a lot to the table, and his contract will keep getting better as the cap jumps. It would take a massive overpay for me to let him go. He leaves you wanting more sometimes, but he can carry the team at times. He’s a legit/solid top line player who is making strides to improve his overall game. I can see us not extending him down the road, but I think he’s a Blue for a long time.
Faulk might actually have some trade value, as decent RD are hard to find. As rough as he has been, who would be a better fit who is reasonably available? Needless to say, When Mailloux progresses to the point where he is taking some of Faulk’s ice time, then we will be in much better shape. I don’t think we try to trade him unless Mailloux is ready or its an overpay.
Parayko won’t be moved. Again, he’s worth more to this team than he is in a trade. I have a feeling (more blind hope) that his height and skating ability will allow him to age fairly gracefully. But I wonder how long he can stay a “top pairing” guy.
Also, who would replace Faulk or Parayko? Y’all ready for Mailloux and his 8 NHL games to be the #1RD?
Rosen was a good move. He’s shown he can play effectively in this system as a 6/7 guy, and the kids need a steady vet. Low risk. if it doesn’t work out, all it costs was minimal salary and AAA filler.

Good comeback win last night, against a good team. It makes a pretty huge difference having Thomas in the lineup, and it will be great to get Neighbors back as well.

This game was something you can build some confidence off of as a team.Popeye_Card wrote: ↑November 4 25, 7:44 amGood comeback win last night, against a good team. It makes a pretty huge difference having Thomas in the lineup, and it will be great to get Neighbors back as well.

Montgomery needs to start putting veterans up in the press box for several games in a row. Start with Buchnevich.

This seems to be the story with the Blues the past few seasons. Sleepwalking through starts of games and whole periods, gangbusters the next game, and then back to the walking dead the next game.
