The MRI exam on the injured right middle finger of Cardinals right-hander Ryan Helsley came back clean on Saturday.

The good news, is that the imaging didn't discover any sort of serious injury and Helsley won't land on the injured list -- he will not be available for Game 2 against the Phillies on Saturday night though. When asked who would function as the team's closer in his place, Cardinals skipper Oli Marmol quipped that he hopes starter Miles Mikolas will be able to finish it out himself.
