The feelings, they are mixed, but the salary, it is much larger.
Never mind. I'm moving back to Phoenix for a similar job. Good times.
Phoenix in the summer - gotta love it.
The Cards are in town over 4th of July this year, you gonna be here by then?

Wart has a cupboard below his stairs you can stay in.
Wart? The guy I saw at the happy valley Old Navy that one time but didn't say hi because it looked like his wife was mad at him?
Sounds right
She just looks like that all the time. And I am a saint!

Well, the offer was accepted and we had the inspection today. Lots of minor things as I expected... and it also needs a new sewer line. I'm really glad I paid for that additional inspection. Got an estimate it would be about $7000-$8000 of work. It sounds like they can run the new pipe through the old one instead of having to dig up the yard though, which is a plus.
I feel I'm in a strong position to ask the seller to fix it. My wife and I offered to pay list price and closing, the sewer line will now go on the seller's disclosure sheet, the couple selling the house has already moved elsewhere but is still paying the mortgage on the home right now.

good luck. if they are out they might be motivated to pay for it and get it off their hands?

That's what we're thinking. Plus like I said, if they back out of our contract now, the sewer line will have to be listed on the disclosure sheet for any other future buyer. Unless someone else offers cash (and if someone else offers cash, they're not offering list price), I don't feel they have much of a choice.
Ax throwing is a lot harder than I thought it would be.
Celebrated a friend's birthday yesterday at the one in Valley Park and it took me a shameful amount of time to get the hang of it. I finally stopped taking a step when I threw and they started hitting right and sticking. They also have throwing stars, knives, daggers and metal rectangles the size of playing cards that you can throw which are fun as well as different size axes/hatchets. I was deadly with the Z-Hunter (small light weight hatchet) but absolutely terrible with an ax. I can hit right where I want on the target but it won't stick so if we ever get in an ax throwing fight, you'll get some blunt force trauma but no ax head stuck in you.
