I was driving through Parkersburg WV and saw they had a mall. Shocked, I stopped and went inside. There was a Spencer's, a Sears and. JC Penney among other lost relics from the 1980s. I bought nothing.

Watching "Curse of Oak Island" makes me wish all the more that Chris Farley was alive to play Dave Blankenship in the spoof.

Did any STL people see surveillance video of that fat choad tackle the woman in Walgreens and throw her keys? I bet he's an active member at the P-D forums.

Is there a button on Kayak (from a desktop) to show taxes and fees? Otherwise the prices are worse than worthless. Very frustrating. I don't remember it being like this.

This has me thinking....I think I got my ear pierced there in 1989(ish). It was immediately removed by my dad when he saw it a day later.

my mall was westridge mall in topeka. "it's funny" to me...it certainly/obviously wasn't a mall you'd see in a (80s) movie, filled with valley girls, the hottest stores and such but it was still a place to be. strangely enough we lived about...300 yards from the mall. from like ages 8-12 it was the coolest place. there was an awesome arcade, a huge space filled with cabinets for several years...then it downsized and the mall seemingly got smaller too. i remember wasting so many summer days there...getting a slice at sbarros in the food court, going to spencers or EB games or b daltons.
