After spending 12+ a day with sales directors the past two days and 4.5 so far today, I was thinking how much I like this group of people that I'm working with. I've worked with most of them the past few years but hadn't met many of them in person before this week. I realized how stupid I was being about an hour ago when it finally hit me, they're all sales directors who also used to be sales reps that were really good at their jobs. Of course they're charismatic! Duh.

I can't decide if the best highlight was when one of the women roaming around from room to room to help mediate disagreements, help with data or whatever would help, she was only in our room for 10 seconds before commenting that our group was the most laid back of the three so she was going to go back to another room where she was needed more. As soon as she said that, one of the guys blurted out, "That's because we're all stoned."

The other was when we had a field rep on speaker phone and when asked about the chances of a customers project getting off the ground he replied, "That project is as dead as a man wearing concrete boots on the bottom of the Hudson."

I got in a stupid fight with my gf and I'm feeling a little melancholy this morning. Google music has shuffled into three Nick Drake songs so far. It's not helping

Hikes/runs usually help my mood; nice to get out of your own space.

You'll be happy to know I got rid of the Prius for something a little sportier. That's not bad idea.

I traded it in for a black on black G37x - unfortunately a sedan instead of a 6spd coupe like I really wanted. I use my girfriend's Honda Pilot fairly often and she can't drive a stick. Also I really dig the AWD it turns out.

I blacked out the chrome around the windows and I'd like to put some larger wheels and lower profile tires on it when I need some new ones anyway in 6 mos, but apparently that means I might need to lower the car a bit or it will end up looking like a 4x4, which sounds like a pain in the ass and pretty expensive. Got any pointers?

Handling, especially when the road isn't dry, which isn't fun in a RWD setup.
