The $10 “Meat Mountain” from Arby’s

Thick cuts, or sliced thinly for sandwiches?

I think its weird to be inconsistent. To say a Tyson chicken from schmucks or Wal-Mart is okay but somehow a fast food chicken sandwich is gross is weird to me. And I'd guess there are more people like that than like you.

I raise pastured berkshire hogs. They are non GMO feed and have no added hormones all the good stuff that is a tag line right now. I don't like grass fed beef but I do raise some very good tasting corn finished beef that has no added hormones. The quality of this meat is far superior to what you'll get at any fast food resturant and many fine dining resturants, and you don't have to have a sofisticated pallet to discern the difference.

That said I know McDonald's/fast food is [expletive] and not good but sometime I just want to eat there.

Sorry for going to the political route. I just couldn't stop myself from asking "How the [expletive] did we get $10 meat mountains?" I'll just shut up, sit back and enjoy the glorious, glorious meat. They need to have Kate Upton do a commercial for it. She could go skiing down the side of a mountain of meat.

As our fellow climbers finished, the effects of the sandwich began to hit me. For no real reason I’d get a chill and my body would shake, a startling occurrence that happened every couple minutes. The gas that was filling me continued to be released without my control, which was nothing if not charming for all those in attendance. And, perhaps most notable, when I laughed my left side was met with a tight pain around my ribs. It turned out I wasn’t alone in such agonies, as the three other finishers uttered similar statements, with one of them even claiming he felt “feverish” for the rest of the day.

I've mostly just laughed at Arby's dogged determination in trying to market themselves as some sort of purveyor of fine meats, but I have to admit that new brown sugar bacon and roast beef sandwich is legit. The bacon is tasty and they actually hook it up on the spider meat for a change. Plus anything is good on a King's Hawaiian roll. I'll be back.
