Yeah, he's getting older & has been a bit injury prone but I think he still has the potential to produce a couple 30 goal seasons with the right team.

He's not a great 2 way player but I'm not sure that's a requirement the Blues must have. He's a pure goal scorer & like you said, if he could be had for a reasonable price/contract I think he's the type of player that could help the Blues & they'd be silly not to at least test the waters on him.

Gaborik wouldn't be bad, but I'd rather get a center. Stastny is ideal, but a trade for Spezza would be OK.
