Kane was killing it there in OT, it was just a matter of time. The puck luck really seems to be going Chicago's way this series. Have the Blues scored off of a deflection yet this series? It seems like the Hawks have had like five thus far.

Bernie said it on Twitter, and I have to agree: We seem to be trying too hard to find the perfect chance that often never comes. Chicago seems much more willing to just throw the puck on net and take their chances.

It's hilarious that you say that because I'm a Hawks fan and I see it completely the opposite way.albertmvpujols wrote:Kane was killing it there in OT, it was just a matter of time. Well, that was disappointing....and now I think the hawks have the upper-hand. The Blues waste another 2-0 advantage in a tough series.
And somebody please [expletive] do something about Bickell. How many times are they going to let him take late checks on Petro, on top of playing dirty as hell.
Oh yeah, and quit backing in & not attacking people w/ the puck! Giving players like Kane & Toews 10 feet to do whatever they want w/ the puck is one of the most puzzling moves I've seen.

Oshie can't be healthy, the entire first line is anemic right now.
That being said, thought it was a pretty even game, Chicago had the best of it in OT. Toews, Hossa, and Kane were possession monsters. Extended time in the zone, strong moves to the middle of the ice, they were phenomenal.

It's easy to be a possession monster when no one is challenging them when they have the puck.JackofDiamonds wrote:Oshie can't be healthy, the entire first line is anemic right now.

That's B.S. The Blues defensive system swarms the puck carrier, and every time those three were in the zone, they beat 2+ defenders with individual moves along the boards and in the corner while the play developed.cardinalkarp wrote:It's easy to be a possession monster when no one is challenging them when they have the puck.JackofDiamonds wrote:Oshie can't be healthy, the entire first line is anemic right now.
