Great game. Really entertaining, I haven't watched a ton from start to finish this year but I did that one.

So zero question Thibs is the best coach in the NBA, right? At least taking so-so teams and making them pretty good. Whether or not he can take a talented team and win a championship remains to be seen I guess.

I don't follow the NBA closely enough to say if it would be the correct answer but I'm sure if you asked the average fan, most of them would name Popovich before Thibs as the best coach in the NBA.

The championship thing is kind of the goal, so you have to put Popovich at the top and I wouldn't be all that put out if someone tried to make an argument for Spoelstra, but there's no question Thibs is an unbelievable tactician and great at keeping his players on message. I'd put him second.

I'd go Popovich, Spoelstra, Thibs. Poppy and Spoelstra both have multiple championships. I love Thibs, but he's only made it to the conference finals 1 time, and never to the NBA finals.

Honestly, the NBA is somewhat void of elite coaches right now.

I don't know whether Thibs can take a talented team and win a championship, but nobody can take whatever you throw at him and make them respectable like Thibs can. I don't know if that makes him a great coach or not, but it's amazing what the Bulls are doing right now.

You can't just look at championships, but Pop has been so good for so long that he's clearly number one. Thibs and Spoelstra are a coin flip for second. Spoelstra is a great offensive mind and has proven he can handle the biggest of personalities. Thibs gets noticeably more effort and defense from his team than any other coach, but he's never been given a roster good/healthy enough to have a chance. It would be interesting to see both of those guys coaching different rosters. Any truth to the rumors Thibs might be leaving?

Kyle Korver's streak of consecutive games with a 3 ends at 127-- 38 more than the previous record. Active streak now belongs to Steph Curry with 50.
