I want more than anything for Dwight to say: "Not 1. Not 2. Not 3..." and count all the way to like, 30. I would forgive Dwight all his bull expletive if he did that.
edit: I didn't realize he had a nice stutter-step while I was out golfing (poorly). He's going to have to go all the way to 40 now for the full pardon.

Houston would have to have won 11 more games just to crack the top 4 in the West last year. Maybe I'm naïve, but I don't think Dwight makes them a championship contender. The Lakers won 45 games with Dwight last year. Is Houston's roster that much better than the Lakers of last year? I don't think so.

I hate that I'm going to have to follow the Wizards now. Ugh. At least they have a good trio of young players that should be exciting to watch.

It sounds like Pressey will get a one-year deal with the Celtics.

Oh how I hope the Pelicans find a way to sign Greg Oden. If only so we can have the ugliest frontcourt possible.

Or do you mean the ugliest street clothes gang possible?MrCrowesGarden wrote:Oh how I hope the Pelicans find a way to sign Greg Oden. If only so we can have the ugliest frontcourt possible.

I can't say I wouldn't be a little bitter if things work out for him, but I do wish Oden well. It's just so hard for me to picture this going well. He's successfully rehabbed once. Other than that, he's never been able to get through the process of healing without re- or otherwise injuring himself. If he can make it to the court though, he'll be a force.
I hope he doesn't choose Miami for a couple reasons. I wouldn't count on those horrible fans to be the least bit forgiving--and he takes things very hard. Secondly, if he meets success there, my bitterness quotient will be a lot higher.
