Dwight Howard is now 50/50 on signing with the Rockets/Lakers because DWIGHT HOWARD.
Also, he hasn't done anything wrong here, but this picture gets me every time:

HAHAHA
So Houston is official.
By the way, errbody, Dwight is a diva, annoying, overrated etc, but he just took less money to go to a better team, have a better chance at a title and didn't draw it out longer than he said he would. Worth mentioning. Also, Morey built a contender in a calendar year without tanking. Props.

I'm not convinced that the Rockets have the guard play to get over the hump, but we'll see.

I am not sure it will happen, but Dealer Dell Demps is supposedly talking with Houston now with a Ryan Anderson for Omer Asik swap. I'd have to think there's more to it than that (Motejunas or Terrance Jones, maybe), but Davis and Asik would be a hell of a defensive frontcourt.

Asik and Davis would be a brutal awesome wall of "dont drive the lane"
Asik is my favorite non-star player in the league. I watched Rockets games when I could just to see him change entire offenses. His stats dont show how his giant real estate changes so much in the paint. I would instantly become a Pelicans fan if he went. It would be a great fit for HOU also.

Fans of the two sides are arguing on whether Anderson or Asik need filler to match their value. Funny. Both guys do their job well. I honestly dont know who I would say should throw in something - I think the salaries are close? Asiks contract is odd. His paycheck will he 5m next year and 15 the next, but his cap hit is 8 both years. Silly provision, thats how Houston stole him in the first place.
