Many will be much mire accepting if they win in years 3-4 of this run. They will have "earned it" by going through some growing pains, instead of just assembling a big three in their primes.

I think a lot of people hated him (probably because he's been expected to be an all time great and Jordanesque since he was 18, and you're not allowed to compare anyone to Jordan unless you're trying to show how awesome Jordan was)but had no real reason to. The Decision gave them a tangible reason.

Personally I think it's because he came off like a massive douche. It's a much simpler explanation than extremely latent Lebron hate because of the Jordan comparisons.

I can promise you that I didn't hate Lebron or even compare him to Jordan at all and rooted for him in the playoffs. Call me a schadenfreuder or player hater or whatever but the way this last offseason went down made it real easy for me to find someone else to root for.
In sum, I agree with Michael.
