- All teams flawed. Bulls have as good a chance as a couple of others. Obviously Heat, Bulls, Celtics in the East.
- Noah not right since surgery. Seems winded, out of shape. Not sure what is going on with him, but look for fewer minutes from him.
- Team chemistry sky high. Pieces just "fit".
I think it's so frickn' cool that you get to talk Bulls with Sam Smith.

It is. I try not to be a pest - actually saw him today and asked him about his wife and son (I coached his son years back) and didn't even mention the Bulls. But when you ask him he seems genuinely interested to talk about it. I think he genuinely loves his job and really doesn't mind talking about it to anyone willing to listen. But you know ... it is shop and I don't want to overstep it too much.

This one sucks, but it doesn't make me nearly as mad. The team wasn't sold to a man who was only interested in packing it up and taking it home. The league didn't weasel and bully its way out of two years of a contract that it signed to play in Sacramento.
But leaving Sacramento to put a third team in L.A. is a really bad sign for small markets, that at least is very troubling. The league should give the Maloofs the Hornets and let that guy buy the Kings and save them.
And get this, the chair of the relocation committee: Clay Bennett.
I'm not going to blame the refs for the loss, but I will say that Dirk did not earn 13 free throws in the fourth. And watching the game, the Mavs weren't being as aggressive and sound defensively as a 19-2 free throw disparity in the fourth may suggest. The Blazers got jobbed on both ends by the refs in the fourth, IMO.
I think we'll be fine. Kidd can't shoot like that again. Gerald Wallace looked real nervous out there tonight as well, like his first game with the Blazers.
Couple of stunners today. I still think even without Bynum, the New Orleans one is a bit bigger. They've already surpassed my expectations for the series. As long as they're competitive against the Lakers, I think this season has to be considered a success for the Hornets.
