How about an ex-Mizzou basketball player?

Coach Anderson left Mizzou and is now the coach of Arkansas. I don't know what to say. I'm happy for him but I feel sorry for the players.

Phins, wouldn't there be word of it somewhere on the interwebs if KU pulled their offer? I can't find anything. Not that I don't believe you because the kid has been to 3 schools in less than a year but surely someone writing about KU hoops would have heard something.
I think Phins might be mistaken on the scholarship thing. The most recent story on McLemore was him announcing when he is going to make his announcement. That would give the impression KU is still going after him and that story is more current than his troubles at Oak Hill.
To be clear, it isn't my information to be right or wrong. I've been able to nail it down it came from a KC Star columnist insinuating Kansas has moved to other options. McLemore has been to three schools in a few years, grade issues, and character issues.
If you have your pick of the litter, as KU does, and recent issues with your basketball program as a cautionary tale, would you want that?

That's not a very fair statement to make considering the only reason he left Wellston is because it doesn't exist anymore.

It's too late for that. KU only has one commit for next year and McLemore is one of only a handful of elite players left unsigned. Winning basketball games is big business at KU and they could lose a lot to the NBA. KU will offer him if they think he will be eligible.

We'll see. If they leave a commitable offer, that's where he'll go.

And a pretty silly post for your first one. Did I say he was kicked out of three schools? Nope. I said he's been to three, which is true. Nothing more, nothing less.
