Happy birthday Sidney Ponson!

Sidney turns 49 today. I found this video on YouTube from a year ago. He’s speaking Papiamento, a Spanish-Dutch mix that is the language of Aruba, and there are no subtitles, so I have no idea what he’s saying. He’s obviously teaching baseball to some Aruban youth. But his appearance is what I found interesting: he’s grown a beard and it’s white-orange. He obviously doesn’t miss too many meals, but he’s probably not much heavier than he was when he was playing. Anyway, I hope his birthday is a happy one and he enjoys his retirement living on a tropical island.
