22% of men think they'd beat a Chimp and 31% say they'd beat a large dog.

I give myself a shot at the medium dog and the eagle if things go right. Beyond that, I'm probably done for.

A couple of years ago I had a fairly large dog charge at me from across the street. I wasn't going to run. Especially not in my own yard. I was like "whelp, I guess we're gonna do this!?!" I started yelling at the dog to get the f*** out of here, and other crazy ramblings. In hindsight, I probably looked insane if any of my neighbors saw it happening. LOL... But I was fully prepared to go with this dog. Luckily, he thought better of it and backed off, went slinking off between the houses. Never saw him again.

Seriously though, a bear would be tough but they are slow enough that, with a weapon, it’s conceivable. A chimp or larva dog would be way more difficult IMO. Speed and power in both. Flexibility in the chimp, claws and fangs in the dog.

Edit: oh, unarmed? Dang, just run away, be loud and threatening or play dead, depending on the type of bear.

I was on a hike this morning and thought about if I came across a mountain lion, if I was ready to fight it. I felt pretty confident that I could win.

Also, I am assuming these are fights to the death. While I'm somewhat afraid of geese attacking me, I'm struggling to think of a scenario where the goose would defeat me in a death match.

Did you see the video that went viral recently of the guy that startled the mountain lion on a hike and they had a stand-off for several minutes??? That was intense. I'm not so sure I'd want to try an angry/hungry puma.
