The idea of meme-based day trading is bad to me. I know I don't know anything about this stuff, but there are thousands of people who are possibly even more ignorant than me that are getting in BECAUSE OF MEMES.
AND THEN I see [expletive] Elon Musk juicing his own holdings just by tweeting [expletive] that his dumbass fans follow like it's gospel, he cleans up and then gets out. I have zero interest in this type of behavior. It's exploitative and irresponsible.
If I was in early with the r/wall street bets or whatever crowd, sure, but at this point, getting in seems like lemming behavior.

Might want to give this dumbass company a wide berth in general.
I have emboldened all of the factually incorrect statements in Robin Hood's "primer" about what socialism is.Socialism is an economic system, which contrasts with capitalism. Under socialism, the means of production are owned collectively rather than by individuals. Historical examples of socialist countries include Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Contemporary examples of socialism include Venezuela, Cuba, and China. Socialism is different from capitalism, in which individual property rights determine ownership. Under capitalism, each person is entitled to the wealth they create from their land, labor, equipment, and entrepreneurship.

Re: Stonks
Damn, that's infuriating. Sometimes, people really don't know the difference between socialism and communism (or between fascism and other totalitarian systems). But then there are the people that know the difference and are just propagandists. This is the latter.thrill wrote: ↑January 29 21, 1:20 pmhttps://learn.robinhood.com/articles/7u ... socialism/
