Was going to put this in the other devil's lettuce thread, but that's more about recreational...plus, look at the calendar. Why limit our cannabis threads to one?
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone in Illinois has a medical card, and if it's worth getting one. If you do, or you've looked into it, what are some of the benefits? I figured it would be cheaper than recreational, but looking at menus, I don't really see any difference. Are the taxes lower? There seems to be a much better selection. And I know they made medical legal permanently, so if rec ever goes away, it stays. But what are the odds of that at this point? You can have more with medical, but I don't need more. You can grow your own, which I'm kinda interested in on a teeny tiny scale but don't know if I would every actually put the effort in or not. $100/year...just looking for pros and cons. I have IBS that gets pretty bad sometimes, and it helps immensely with that. Have never broached the subject with my doctor and don't know his feelings on it. I saw that there are places popping up now where you can pay them a couple hundred for an online consult. Just wondering what people thought.
