I don't know how many people know this, but our very own planet was the Ohio state spelling bee champion. Not sure of the year - 1816? Maybe 1817. I dunno'. But she did win.
Good luck to Erin.
Good luck to Erin.

But can we ever prove it was an actual spelling error and not a typographical error? I see what you're trying to pull here!

She won back when multiple spellings were o.k. Some time after Shakespeare's death, I think.tlombard wrote:But can we ever prove it was an actual spelling error and not a typographical error? I see what you're trying to pull here!

She's a nice young lady. Unfortunately she was one and done in the finals. Still, no shame in being one of the last 45 standing in the National Spelling Bee.Leroy wrote:Is she good lookin?
