Hate this woman with a passion.

One of my friends/co-workers has been covering the disappearance and probable murder of a 14-year-old girl from a small community in our viewing area. I'm not saying any murder is more or less important than any others, but it's rare here and we probably treat it with more coverage than a larger market would.

Anyway, she did an awesome job with this story, for as tough of a thing as it is to cover. CNN then called us and asked if we could send the video for Nancy Grace's show (which we did).

And she completely distorted everything. Just as an example, she says the girl was kidnapped from her bed, and she made this assumption because our reporter shot footage of the bed. If she had been smart enough to listen to the audio track, she would've understood the reason for the bed footage is because the girl's mother went to wake her for school one morning, and she wasn't there.

I couldn't stand her before, but this one bothers me even more because of how much I know about the case.

Doesn't surprise me. I can't stand the woman. I've only watched maybe a couple hours worth of her show and I couldn't take it any more. It was right after she had twins and every [expletive] story she had to relate to having twins. Jesus Christ she's so self absorbed.

She also went in really hard on the Duke lacrosse team, obviously prematurely. As I recall she quietly eased off the coverage once the lack of evidence was becoming apparent.

She's so bad, with a thread title of "Nancy Grace", it's not necessary to classify it as a Rant or a Rave.

"Rave - Nancy Grace" would be an oxymoron.

I was going to say the one time she tried to help a black girl in distress, it didn't work out so well for Nancy.

Thank you for confirming what I've suspected as I channel surf past her. Glad I haven't stopped. There should be laws about this kind of crap.
