Fantasy Football: Sit or Start (Week 2)
Figured we could all discuss sitting and starting players. I for one like to be vindicated, not that I particularly know best, but if someone agrees with me I feel better.
In my PPR (.5) league, I got Darren McFadden home v Rams this week and Dwane Bowe at Cle battling for my flex spot. Bush is out and I can't imagine the Rams are gonna slow him down much, but Cle is pretty helpless. I think Cassel won't throw much (and Bowe is gonna be huge let down this season, I feel it) once they get a lead and Jamaal Charles will rack up the carries. I'm thinking McFadden over Bowe. Johnny Knox, Bernard Berrian and Ronnie Brown are my other options.
Thoughts?

McFadden over Bowe is probably smart this week because Cleveland is bad enough that KC could beat them. I think Bowe will have a fine season though. The Chiefs will be behind often enough that they'll be forced to throw the football. They were completely dominated and would have been having to throw the ball if it weren't for 3 huge plays.

Which two RB should I start in my not-GRB league? (No flex)
A Foster
J Charles
B Jackson (GB-Ryan Grant is out)
other options are: L McCoy and M Barber.
I was a total jerk about picking up Brandon Jackson yesterday. My opponent this week has R Grant as her #2 rb behind A Peterson. Her only other rb is Fred Jackson.

KC at CLE
Bills at Pack.
I'm thinkin Charles and Jackson. Eagles at lions; so McCoy might be nice too. I'm not sold on Foster just yet, I think that had a lot to do with a week Colts D and a pumped, primed and gunning for Indy Houston team opening the season at home.

Vikes are 9-0 at home with Favre. But, maybe it's just living in Indy, I gotta go Garcon.Transmogrified Tiger wrote:Pick 1, standard scoring, no PPR

Scratch that, I traded Jackson and Charles for Adrian Peterson.vinsanity wrote:Texas at WASJCShutout wrote:Which two RB should I start in my not-GRB league? (No flex)

Peterson, Foster and McCoy. Will probably go with the 1st two. Might hurt me this week, but long term I think I did well.

McGahee is basically a backup at this point right? I think Bradshaw might get some catches this week since Indy looked so bad on D. I dunno how I feel about Addai or Brown there, but I think you have to start em.Jocephus wrote:i currently have: addai and ronnie brown as my 2 RB's and ahmad bradshaw as my W/R

yeah, mcgahee is a backup, and only got like 3.5 points, much less than all 3 other backs i have...i guess the reason i asked is i had read something about brown going against Min run defense (tough matchup and all) and although mcgahee is backup, he tends to get a lot of looks when they are in the redzone, so at least i would have a potential scorer...i probably will keep it as addai/brown/bradshaw...was just wondering what others thought
