I may be missing something, because I just don't find any enjoyment in watching / listening to Howard Stern. Am I the only one?

You're missing out Rad, he can be very witty at times, and the amount of "shock" is often overstated. The show is too hit and miss for me though.Radbird wrote:I prefer wit over shock, and I hear only the latter when I've listened to him.
Stern's a bore.maddash wrote:You're missing out Rad, he can be very witty at times, and the amount of "shock" is often overstated. The show is too hit and miss for me though.Radbird wrote:I prefer wit over shock, and I hear only the latter when I've listened to him.
Yeah, I've only caught him when on the road and picked him up on a scan. I guess I caught him with women or midgets, as ghost said. What I did hear wasn't witty, just crudeness for shock value. Kinda reminded me of Bob Sagat's stand-up routine - just talk normally and throw the F-word in every third word to show that you're not Danny Tanner. I don't mind raunchiness as long as it's entertaining and not gratuitous.maddash wrote:You're missing out Rad, he can be very witty at times, and the amount of "shock" is often overstated.
