Outlook question: Distribution Lists

Post by docellis »

This might be a very stupid question.

How do you create a distribution list in Outlook that keeps the recipients from being able to see each others e-mail addresses?

Also, is there any way to import a list of e-mail addresses from an excel spreadsheet into Outlook contacts?

I figured out how to import from a spreadsheet. Still can't figure out how to keep the recipients from seeing each others email addresses though.

you might have to go to preferences and add the bcc into the email window, and put everyone's email address in there and in cc just put your email address

Aha, I think that might work. I thought you were suggesting re-typing a hundred e-mail addresses into BCC, or even going in an selecting 100 email addresses in BCC. But just typing the distribution list name in BCC might work, I am trying that now.
