If anyone's curious, Milwaukee is 435 miles away from Cleveland.CLEVELAND -- After snow wiped out Cleveland's series against Seattle for the fourth day in a row Monday, the Indians moved their next series against the Los Angeles Angels to Milwaukee's Miller Park.
The teams will play a three-game series beginning Tuesday in the ballpark, which unlike Jacobs Field, has a retractable roof. The opener and Wednesday's game will be played at 7:05 p.m. CT, with Thursday's scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
The Indians, who had their home opener last Friday called after four innings, will try to get their first game at Jacobs Field in on Friday when they open a three-game set against the Chicago White Sox.
While snow stopped falling Monday, the grounds crew was unable to get the surface in shape after three days of snow. Faced with a forecast for sleeting rain, snow flurries and a projected high of 34 degrees, the Indians postponed their rescheduled doubleheader against the Mariners.
After spending Sunday considering moving the Angels' series to Anaheim., Calif., baseball officials decided to switch it to Milwaukee, and Indians players packed for the trip.

Wouldn't the natural solution be to play these 3 in LA, and then flip-flop the later series in LA to Cleveland? Or maybe they only play each other this one time. Either way, the Tribe is gonna lose a ton of scratch on the deal.mcgee51taguchi99 wrote:It's better than playing 53 games in July.RC21 wrote:If I was the Indians, I'd be really angry about that. Do you know how much money the team loses just in gate money alone when they lose a home game?

There's lots of problems with that, too, but it's probably the best solution off the top of my head.RC21 wrote:Wouldn't the natural solution be to play these 3 in LA, and then flip-flop the later series in LA to Cleveland?
