I don't see how you can change the call there.

[expletive] [expletive]. One [expletive] mistake and some horse [expletive] officiating changes the whole [expletive] game.

What a conundrum the Pinkel MIzzou teams are. They can look dazzling for a while in a season and a rare occassion big game-but then they pay the price for their commitment to minimal running game in which pics are bound to happen. The ppatsy-ass schedule does not serve them well in the long run
.
What was Pinkel thinking with his timeouts at the end?
This was not a good Iowa team they lost to. NCAA football is a tough biz without a doubt. Yet Mizzou musters the most hollow 10 win seasons imaginable.

How the [expletive] was that call overturned? What bull [expletive]. It was at best 50/50 that he didn't catch it. No way in hell that call should have been overturned. Giving mizzou the ball at the 30 with 2 minutes left. No way that call didn't change the outcome of the game.

What a game. Mizzou starts as if they're going to get blown out then, turn things around to absolutely dominate Iowa, Gabbert, having the game of his life, loses his concentration and gives one away then MU gets utterly screwed on a replay call. Well, it was entertaining and the Tigers put on a good showing.

When you schedule 3 gimmes each year and benefit from down Big 12 season, and cap them off with bowl losses to Navy and Iowa - yes.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Hollow 10-win seasons? What the hell?

I like how you throw Navy in with Iowa like its completely embarrassing that they lost a bowl game to IowaFreed Roger wrote:When you schedule 3 gimmes each year and benefit from down Big 12 season, and cap them off with bowl losses to Navy and Iowa - yes.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Hollow 10-win seasons? You realize Iowa was pre-season top 10 right? And had the lead or were tied in the 4th quarter of every loss they had this season? (Including games against two BCS bowl game participants)
I've read this everywhere this morning, Mizzou fans need to get off their high horse, they didn't lose to a bad football team last night...
And as for Gabbart picking apart the Iowa secondary...that's the way the defense is designed, it's bend don't break, and teams who throw short passes have a very easy time completing >10 yard passes and driving the length of the field on them...it was when Iowa started to blitz late that they had more success.....let's not take Gabbart throwing for 400 yards as domination, because as crazy as it sounds, that's how Iowa's defense is designed
