It has everything to do with the timing of your losses...voters don't think that deeply about this stuff after the top few spots. Alabama was the first to lose and they're in the best position of the one loss teams. Lose later and you're going to be slotted behind the others with the same record for the most part. OU is ranked behind Nebraska. OU beat Texas and lost to Mizzou on the road. Nebraska lost to Texas at home and beat Mizzou at home. Nebraska lost first.

Mizzou at 12 in the BCS. The computers still love them...mostly top 5 rankings, but the human polls drag them down. Even if Mizzou doesn't win the North the might still have an outside shot at a BCS bowl if they win out since the computers like them so much.

How bizzare is it that Mizzou is still ahead of Boise in the computer portion of the BCS?

Mizzou will re-evaluate offense in red zone
After about four years they finally admit it. They have a good enough offensive line that they should already have a short yardage power formation. Add to that a pistol formation with Gabbert and a wildcat with Franklin and you're good to go. Some of those running plays they call in short yardage situations take way too long to develop. Shorten up the splits and let your linemen get you those yards the conventional way instead of trying to get cute all the time.

It's on ABC. Unless you're getting Arizona/Stanford in that slot, in which case it'll be online on ESPN3.
