For two young starters, a converted reliever, and a reclaimation project, it sure doesn't inspire a lot of confidence on the mound when you're wondering if you'll get two runs worth of support. Complicate that with shoddy defense and I wouldn't be surprised if that in some way contributes to the control/command problems from trying to be too fine.

Probably. Both errors were on plays that wouldn't have resulted in an out, and neither led directly to a run just runners getting into scoring position. Plus, both scored on hits.

But I'm not sure how they rule on all of that.
It's if the inning was reconstructed would the runs have scored with errorless play. I'm hardly paying attention right now, to be honest, but that's the rule I believe.

Oh, and J-Rod should probably be called up soon ...

Geez, they're 6-6 with Pujols hitting like Skip Schumaker. It's not that bad.

Everytime they DO hit one hard, it's right at somebody and it's a double play. Effing ridiculous.

what was Taguchi doing on that play. Bad baserunning leads to a double play. AP smoked that ball though. Nice play be Jose Castillo

I thought Shannon said Taguchi was running on the play, but he's wrong 75 percent of the time.
