The best part of that play was Brian Elliott's reaction on the bench when Bergie came over.

Also, Steen's goal tonight was absurd.

I used to be way more into the Blues than I am now, but I still check in occasionally.

So real fans, what's up with Steen? Crazy hot streak or next step in his development as a scorer?

I've been bad keeping up as much as I normally do this year. I guess I'm just preparing myself for another great to incredible regular season, only to see the axe fall again in the playoffs. We could end the season with 130 points, and I'd still be nervous as hell about getting out of the first round.

Both.

His shooting percentage is entirely unsustainable. Even after his recent 5 game slide, he's shooting over 21% when league average for "scorers" is between 10-14%. It's not impossible that he has a fluke season where he shoots 15% or so, but 21+ is unprecedented.

Then again, if he can successfully & intentionally bounce pucks off the inside of a goalie's blocker from behind the net, I don't really know what to predict.

Elliott will make a third straight start in goal tonight against the Leafs.

Heard at tonight's hockey game: I was at a Cardinals game where Ray Lankford hit 4 or 5 home runs. The final score was 18 to 4 or something like that.
