Gash in Duncan's head a result of attack

Chris Duncan reportedly arrived late to today's game with the Reds, but facts are standing in the way of the story, apparently. According to reports, he was actually at Busch Stadium a few minutes early, and needed to ask his dad about reconciling his checkbook, which up until this month, pitching coach Dave Duncan had taken care of for him.

As he entered Dave's office with out knocking, he found manager Tony LaRussa, Dave and third base coach Jose Oquendo engaged in an early morning shred party. Reports are that they were shredding the very guarded secret files, which contain everything from why Albert bats third, pitching and hitting charts, and the identity of the gunman on the grassy knoll.

As he tried to leave, Jose grabbed the closest thing to him...a sandshovel left by a disgruntled groundskeeper, and smashed Chris over the head with it, and said, "There's your secret weapon, fool!" As of press time, these reports were neither confirmed, nor denied.

When the rest of my hair leaves in about 20 years, the top of my head will look like one of Joe Namath's knees.
