I haven't played it yet since it's a Xmas present & it's sitting in my stocking but does anyone have or read any reviews on Gran Turismo 5?

Oh man, we played for hours last night. My arms hurt like hell and my stomach is sore from laughing. The girls took over w/Dance Central @ midnight and went till 5 AM. I never, ever enjoyed the Wii but can see myself grabbing a Kinect.Michael wrote:Anyone tried Kinect? I picked up Adventures and Sports for myself and Dance Central for my wife (okay, secretly I want to play it too). So far I've only tried Adventures which is surprisingly fun. There's a little lag and jankiness but for the most part it works really well. I like it a lot more than I was expecting. I bet it's a hoot in party situations.

I was just at Gamestop after deciding I need a new game. Narrowed down my choices to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, FIFA 11, and NHL 11. Went with ACB in the end and haven't had a chance to pop it in and see whether I made a good choice, but does anyone play either of the other two? I may decide to pick up another one since I just can't get into Dead Rising 2.

I definitely like Assassin's Creed altho, im a fan of the series so I may be kind of biased. I do enjoy they have added much more for you to do in this game and hiring and training a team of assassin's is one of the cool new parts that have been added.

FIFA 11 is great if you're a soccer fan. It's incredibly realistic so if you don't enjoy the inner workings of soccer, you won't enjoy it.cpebbles wrote:I was just at Gamestop after deciding I need a new game. Let me know if you get it, I need someone to play with on that game. All of my friends just play COD.

All I play is FIFA. It was 2010 until, I just got FIFA 11 this week.TGantz wrote:FIFA 11 is great if you're a soccer fan. I usually play with Aston Villa or an MLS team. It's more of a challenge.

I play w/ Villa a bit. Young is tough. Real fast and can shoot.TGantz wrote:Playing online, everyone picks Real Madrid or Barcelona.robbotis wrote:All I play is FIFA. I just started a new season w/ Fulham. Glad Dempsey finally got some love. An 80 overall.
They just don't have anyone like Krasic or Del Piero that can score from anywhere. Plus Juventus has Buffon to help w/ my defensive lapses.

Try playing with Athletico Madrid from the Spanish league. Diego Forlan from Uruguay has an unbelievable shot. I've made some circus shots with him.robbotis wrote:I play w/ Villa a bit. Young is tough. Real fast and can shoot.
