I was doing some Christmas shopping today and my bill was right at $100. The girl at the checkout was trying to get me to sign up for the store credit card with the promise that I would save 20% on my purchase. I told her I wasn't really interested so she pulls out a chart to tell me how much savings I'm missing out on.

her-If it was 15% you would save $15. 20 percent isn't on my chart but it would be more than that.
me-Like maybe $20?

All I had on TV to miss was the Chiefs-Broncos [expletive] show, plus the shopping was a lot less crowded because of the game. I'm going to be really busy the next few weeks so I wanted to get my shopping done early.
