He's had 2 good years in 5. He's 41. He's injured. He had an anomalous season last year. He's not going to be good, but he's back.
Somehow I'm reminded of this from The Full Monty

I just can't understand how that didn't work for him.

Somebody else dish the dirt on Brett's dong. I don't want to watch, but I am curious.

Pathetic, desperate and unremarkable.

Dick pics to a woman who is clearly trying to avoid you. Brett's gunslinging ways bring him down in romance too.

Favre scandal must be addressed Did Brett Favre sexually harass a sideline reporter while with the Jets? The NFL commish needs to find out, says Jason Whitlock.
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/brett-favre-jenn-sterger-allegations-should-be-resolved-by-nfl-commissioner-roger-goodell-100810link

Whitlock wrote:
Goodell must investigate the Favre-Sterger incident and either clear or punish Favre.
...or in other words -"please investigate this Goodell, so we (Foxsports ESPN) can officially report on it around the clock" as much as Deadspin is. They can't go mainstream with this topic until they get the go-ahead. Besides it would be bad form considering all Favre has done for them.

...On the one hand, I have a hard time believing this deal is true - on the other hand, nothing famous people do should surprise us.

The gal and Favre are both being quiet about it, so if it happened, then she probably has received a reasonable hush money payout. If both parties are satisfied, then shouldn't that be enough instead of having the full-blown NFL investigation/drama?

As much shadenfreuden satisfaction I get when creeps like Tiger Woods, Bill Clinton, Wildebeast Guy etc etc etc get a dose of public humiliation - I don't think public flogging* should be mandatory. All I know is I don't want to see a pecker.

*no pun intended.

I'm guessing that Whitlock's angle is more along the lines of "Favrespn should not get treated any more favorably than the Jets or Roethlisweinershower."

ESPN can't hide their heads in the sand and ignore the story now.
NFL confirms review of Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger matter
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... er-matter/
This is about to get worse. It appears Jenn Sterger wasn't the only woman who received unwanted and inappropriate text messages from Brett Favre while he played for the Jets. Favre also pursued two team massage therapists, according to one of the women.
