I think you'll like it. The graphics won't wow you, but it's enjoyable to play.Tambourine Man wrote:Oh boy, that'll drive me nuts. I'm gonna go get it @ dinner break. I'm getting burnt of FPS games.

Just download something on XBL like defense gird. I'm sick of huge commitment games. I won't buy anything that takes over 20 hours to beat. Life is too short.

I'll probably buy it and stare at it for awhile. Oblivion's just been collecting dust and that's supposed to be a great game.

I liked it more than Oblivion and Oblivion was just like FO3 except with Elves.Tambourine Man wrote:I'll probably buy it and stare at it for awhile. Oblivion's just been collecting dust and that's supposed to be a great game.

As long as they don't cost $60, I'm cool with that. I won't go buy God of War III until it's on sale because they always play too quickly for the money you're investing.Michael wrote:Just download something on XBL like defense gird. i was big on tower defense for warcraft 3 (custom games)...that looks pretty cool...just wish i would have gotten it when it 400 points too...Michael wrote:I downloaded Defense Grid when it was on sale for 400 spacebucks. I had never played a tower defense game before and I was skeptical, but I fell in love with it. I was completely addicted to it over the weekend. DG is the best game I've played all year.

It's an incredibly well designed game. I'll grab a headset this week. I've always liked the Battlefield series, but they've outdone themselves.TimeForGuinness wrote:Hell yea, I was toasty too...I was a huge SOCOM fan (looking forward to SOCOM 4)...but this was a ton of fun. I was cracking up that you would spawn behind me as a medic and drop medkits (I think you gave me 50 over the course of the night)...I still don't know how to pick them up.JackofDiamonds wrote:TimeForGuinness wrote:JoD, you need to get a headset
Yeah, I know. I was having internet issues last night...and I was drunk. That was fun though.
The controls are great, the graphics are impressive, the destructible environment is awesome, and the sniping is fun.
I just need to lean the maps better.

I have a ridiculous backlog of games. Oblivion, ME2, Battlefield's campaign, Arkham Asylum being the main 4. Then there's Borderlands.

I got tired of fighting the same enemies over and over again every time I loaded it up.PujolJunkie wrote:...Then there's Borderlands.
I'm probably nowhere near finishing it, and I've had it for a long, long time.

I finished it in about 20 hours. I got to level 35 with my soldier. I wasn't interested in a 2nd run through to get to level 50. I had fun with it, though.
