Local Pub here has 1.50 Mickey's hand grenades. Not the worst thing ever and for 1.50 who cares.

I haven't really tried much new lately. I've been drinking some old favs, Lagunitas IPA Maximus (if you're an IPA fan you should love it), Racer 5, and the last couple Bells Hopslams I've been savoring.

I had a few Mickey's at Hair of the Dog on Washington recently. I like them.

Re: The Beer Thread
Schlafly Summer Lager - (B -) -good, nothing special or unique. (note- lagers taste bad after having an IPA - so don't mix).
Schlafly Rasberry [expletive]. (F) -what a load of crap - it was a dark night -I decide to mooch free beer -so reached into friends cooler - seeing a schlafly label -assumed it was safe -and was horrified to find that I was drinking rasberry beer. Forays like this will not help Schlafly one bit. I don't know how that one got on the shelf.
New Belgium Ranger IPA and Mighty Arrow. Good pale ales. similar too each other. I'm turning more and more to New Belgium - quality products - but $2-$4 cheaper per six than comparables.

Re: The Beer Thread
Schlafly's seasonal American IPA is pretty good.

At first it was a bit too pungent/grapefruity for me. But gets better as you go.
Also when foraging for beer while glamping was glad to get reaquainted with Dogfish Head Santo Palo Matron, India brown ale, and 60 minute IPA

Re: The Beer Thread

I've liked everything I've had so far from New Holland. This stuff is fantastic!
