I did a mock auction draft today and I'm not sure how I feel about it quite yet. It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet. I went hard in the beginning, landing Pujols, Longoria, Holliday, Halliday, Greinke, and Carp, slowed down in the middle, and really ended up OK. Not sure if stars and scrubs can win you a fantasy league though.

The key is to bid evenly. If you over bid, towards the end you'll get scrubs. If you bid on a few stars, and get them, you'll be fine.

Good questions. Do we get $260 even with our star keepers already in the fold? If so, that will drastically impact upwards the $ spent per player.

I think typically, your keepers would subtract from the $260, based on an amount that they made the prior year. Having not been in the ESPN league before or having any dollar amount associated with them, I'm wondering if there is an average auction value that is given to them. There has to be some subtraction, I would think.
