You can blame EA for the exclusive license. I'm still hoping for NFL 2K12.AdmiralKird wrote:Can't wait til 2012 until this damn exclusive license expires. MVP2012 please.

Down-up. Which field you hit to seems to be a function of pitch location and timing. I sometimes hold down and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

well, EA and the NFL and MLB may just re-up the deal when it expires. I'm sure it's been profitable for EA and I'm sure the leagues like having that kind of control over the only games that come out representing them. I'm not optimistic we'll ever come out of this monopoly of sports games.

It's been a bad deal for them:
LinkSpeaking of Take-Two's guidance, the company now expects net revenue of $250 million to $300 million for the February-April quarter and earnings per share of $0.20 to $0.30. For the full fiscal year, the company expects $725 million to $925 million in revenue and a loss of $0.40 to $0.60 per share, thanks to an annual net loss of $30 million to $35 million ($0.38 to $0.44 per share) from the company's Major League Baseball exclusivity deal.

I really, really want to like Just Cause 2. I just worry that it's not going to be focused enough for me. I need direction and this game looks like it's perfect for those who don't want any at all.

My cup of tea. That clip is ridiculous and outstanding.clevername wrote:

I've been playing road to the show on PS3, and I've enjoyed it but there's one thing that always seems to irk me. I have it set at rookie because I'm still pretty awful, and it shows it as that on the gameplay screen, but every time I get into actually play a game, it resets to veteran. Any solutions?

Re: The Video Game Thread
suck @ hitting? try this: Guess up in the zone, and guess fastball. that way they cant surprise you with a fastball up(resulting in weak contact/pop-ups). then you can be prepared for anything down in the zone--> even fastballs you will be alerted to. yewl just know if its a phat pitch 'up', or wait back to see if the off-speed will be hittable. I then started getting lift on every pitch, and started seeing more longballs and gappers, rather than liner @ a fielder. Im a Catcher playing for the Durham Bulls. the RTTS for catcher makes the game go by so much slower, because your involved in EVERY PITCH!MrCrowesGarden wrote:I've been playing road to the show on PS3, and I've enjoyed it but there's one thing that always seems to irk me. also; do you have the difficulty set to your profile, or the actual franchise file?

it has to have some focus. even GTA has some focus...
prolly the most ridiculos game for that has to be Oblivion. its so big, that where ever youre traveling, you're bound to come across a gate or cave or ruin etcc that needs plundering...
