It was settings. I had it set to blocked. Good to know I've had my online status blocked for the better part of 4 months. Jeez.

Is it wrong that I think I am too late to bother getting the game? Usually I am all over a new CoD release, but I had just bought 5 games when I picked up my PS3 and did not buy MW2 yet; at this point, I am so far out of the MW2 loop, I feel like I would be KILLED in online play right now.

Is it wrong that I think I am too late to bother getting the game? Usually I am all over a new CoD release, but I had just bought 5 games when I picked up my PS3 and did not buy MW2 yet; at this point, I am so far out of the MW2 loop, I feel like I would be KILLED in online play right now.

The truth is it's all dependent on match-ups. I think that's where a lot of my good and bad streaks come in at. Some nights, I'll keep getting put up against these stupidly good teams who have insane reflexes and even better TV's. Other nights, I get people of my skill level and maybe a bit of deviation higher or lower that I can handle. And then there's the nights where you get people who just flat out suck.

The key, honestly, is map knowledge. After you master the maps, common camping spots, the most predictable routes, flanking points, etc., you'll sail. I was stuck at about .92 for the longest time when I first started, but then when I really got familiar with every single map like the nerd I am, it all just came so much easier.

M4A1 Holographic w/ Sleight of Hand, Stopping Power, Steady Aim and Painkiller = Results. It's the single most dominant class for just racking up kills.

you would get killed online...at first...PJ is right...its map knowledge and knowing common tricks/tactics used...
