JoD, I have NHL08 and 09 and really love the Be A Pro mode. Any particular reason I should upgrade to NHL10?

Re: The Video Game Thread
Any "Silent Hill" fans out there?
I just finished playing through the latest incarnation of the franchise on the Wii, "Shattered Memories". Fans of the first game and the main storyline will be a little confused but otherwise satisfied with the experience.
Less action and survival horror mainstays than fans are probably used to, but an involving and at times very creepy game nonetheless. The integration of the Wii-mote functionality is top-notch, and the game literally profiles you psychologically as you go, changing both elements within the game and the possible multiple endings of the story. Innovative, rarely done in games (and even more rarely successful enough to be interesting) and always a big plus in my book, as well giving it decent replayability.
I give it a 3.9 out of 5. And for a Wii title these days, that's pretty darn good.

I just wish people would stop [expletive] asking if we have it in stock. The answer has been no since December 21st.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I picked up New Super Mario Bros, it's a [expletive] blast.

Thanks to my GRB pals, I just bought a high quality HDMI cable for 3 dollars and 48 cents. Also purchased my PS3 today + BioShock for 19.99. Life is good.

Beat it last night. Still need to go through and unlock all the levels I skipped, coins, etc, though. Mario skills are like riding a bike.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I picked up New Super Mario Bros, it's a [expletive] blast.

BioShock is absolutely awesome and for 20 bucks, it was an awesome purchase. Uncharted 2 is next, hopefully.

Re: The Video Game Thread
So when I switch my resolution to 720p on my 26" Sylvania HDTV on my 360, it cuts off portions of the screen. It's solvable in Call of Duty, but in every other game, it still cuts off. Is there a setting somewhere that I can set my TV to 16:9 instead of 4:3 on the 360? If so, I can't find it. Maybe I'm blind.
