Battlefield 1943 is pretty flippin sweet.redbirdjazzz wrote:What XBOX Live Arcade games do you guys like? I've played Castle Crashers, and that was fun. I'll probably be saving the 1600 points I have until Perfect Dark comes out, but are there any other things I should keep my eyes on? Anybody tried MLB Stickball?

Excellent. Now I just have to wait till Tuesday (and maybe longer depending on how long it takes me to rearrange my internet connection; I can't really afford the wireless adapter yet).Jocephus wrote:i have a lot of oldies (wolfenstein 3d, duke nukem 3d, turtles arcade, altered beast, streets of rage 2, sonic 2, golden axe)...but of the newer ones, 'splosion man is frustratingly fun, peggle, uno are good quick games, shadow complex is a good side scroller...i like battlefield 1943, (a quick fps)...redbirdjazzz wrote:What XBOX Live Arcade games do you guys like? I'm pretty good at BF1943. I'd never played a console FPS'er before, I'm a PC guy. I'm not the max rank, that must take freaking forever, but I am almost always first or second on my team (assuming a decent level of sobriety, which is not guaranteed). I'm on PS3 though.

Ok gamers I need some help..
I have a 360, with Live, and also a Wii..
I'm looking to get an RPG game for 360 because all I have right now are sports games...(and the Mario games for Wii...)
Any ideas? I'm looking for something similar to Goldeneye from the N64 days...I don't want something too difficult to figure out with all sorts of controls...any help would be appreciated!
I just feel overwhelmed looking at Halo, COD, MW, etc.

If you're familiar with Goldeneye you'll pick up Halo and the COD games for 360 in no time.JS04 wrote:Ok gamers I need some help..

Re: The Video Game Thread
and RPG or a FPS?
i'd definitely recommend Fallout 3 as it is an RPG and FPS combined...epic long story, and fun to play
COD:MW2 really isn't too bad as far as controls, its just a matter of getting used to maps (as far as online play is concerned)...and dealing with the fact that there are some people who play the game non-stop and are uber at it
never played halo so i can't offer much on that
a great Team based FPS is Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 (2 obviously is newer and better)...but thats best played with friends
