It's kind of like Cirque du Soleil but more like Jerk us Soleil because that's what their gonna do to each other. ... it's 69 it's 29, the kids are young so it's 9.
I saw that at the Rag Tag in Columbia and it is one of my favorite movie experiences ever. Like 50 people drinking beer with tears streaming down their faces. The people that walked out really missed a good time.

Re: Recently viewed movies
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and completely disagree. Box office horror movies aren't really made for their gripping acting anymore but man, I really was legitimately scared by this movie. Not like can't sleep at night or leave the theatre scared, just really jumpy and "holy [expletive]" laden. The acting wasn't top notch but I thought it was an interesting enough story and frightening enough to make me sit through it.Kyle wrote:I saw "A Haunting in Connecticut" last night. I thought it sucked -- probably the worst movie I've seen in recent memory.

Watching Resevoir Dogs for the first time. Which is absolutely mindblowing because I've seen every Tarantino movie except this one.

"When the Levees Broke" a documentary by Spike Lee. A very fine perspective on that sad moment in US history. After a recap of what actually happened with the storm it seques into the side stories -probably the weakest/gratuitous part of the film (Kanye West, the guy who says eff you Mr. VP, bombing of levees conspiracy theory etc) - but then gets stronger with its poignant interviews. I've garnered a greater respect and understanding for the people of New Orleans. IMO Spike Lee was fair with the documentary. I have mixed feelings on what when on down there (personal responsibility vs a shared response -or lack thereof). But as it went along my feelings evolved.
What it is, is what it is.
Oh Yea - also saw "Crimes and Misdemeanors" - what a classic that one is.

Last night I watched Raging Bull to cleanse my palate of all the terrible movies I've endured lately.

Just saw Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Pretty good. I thought the story kind of lacked but there were funny parts and it definitely was too bad at all.

Re: Recently viewed movies
Craig Robinson really steals the show in so many of the movies he's been in. I can't wait until he gets a lead role. He's AWESOME as Darryl on the Office, he was hilarious in Pineapple Express, Zack and Miri, Knocked Up. He just has so much comic potential. Seriously.StLBlitzerMM515 wrote:Just saw Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Pretty good. I thought the story kind of lacked but there were funny parts and it definitely was too bad at all.
