To make the inside joke an outside joke, the orange marmalade thing is a reference to a scene in Salo where they eat feces. To accomplish this look, the director created feces by covering orange marmalade with chocolate.

"Leotardoed" is just a Sopranos reference... anyone can partake in that one.
