That will conserve some cash.

The Asians haven't won me over though. There's only 1 total Japanese vehicle I would consider buying (Toyota FJ). I'm really picky with my vehicles though. Out of the hundreds of models out there, I'd buy maybe 10.

Didn't Congress basically say as much? They didn't want to throw money at the problem if the owners weren't willing to throw money at it.....they were basically just looking for a handout when they had the cash on hand they were asking for.

I just don't like the looks of most modern vehicles. The only trucks out there I like right now are Chevy/GMC full-size (the Colorado/Canyon aren't bad either). There's only a few SUV's I like, because I like old-school "boxier" SUV's (minus the FJ, which just looks cool). The only cars I like are mostly European, and mostly out of my price range.
