He'd make a great preacher or motivational speaker. At least he has a future.
He's a POW. Maybe you haven't heard.
If you had McCain, the POW, and Obama, the community organizer, and that's all you knew about them...which would you vote for?
Point being, I'd rather McCain have POW on his resume then what Obama has on his

Really? I don't think anyone in the last 2 weeks has spoken from the heart. They are all reading speeches off of teleprompters that someone else wrote.fanforever wrote:You can tell Mccain is speaking from the heart

So, by this logic -- if all I knew about a theoretical Democratic candidate named Don Jones was that he was a community organizer and a Republican that was a POW but also involved in a prison torture scandal, that Republican candidate is more fit to be president?JG1982 wrote:Point being, I'd rather McCain have POW on his resume then what Obama has on his
If it came out that McCain committed atrocities in Vietnam, wouldn't that make him completely unqualified to be president, much less call himself a human being?

No, the point is clearly that while democrats may be hating on the POW crap, it's a huge part of his life..Socnorb11 wrote:This question couldn't be more pointless.JG1982 wrote:Well let's put it this way folks, and I know this is (thankfully) not how it works..Socnorb11 wrote:InvincibleCakeEater wrote:And McCain's reason for where he is is...?BW23 wrote:Talk is the reason Obama is where he is. Motivation is a good thing, especially when you believe in what you're preaching.
16 years of "service". I guess you've bought into the liberal media.
I'm glad he believes in what he's preaching. I'd rather someone believe in what they say, even when they're wrong, than to lie. I'm just not buying what he's preaching.
Not a word.
But you buy what McCain is preaching? That he respects Obama, but it's OK if his colleagues mock him for two days straight?

I think it's pretty clear. You can talk well without saying a word. Go back to last Thursday if you need a reference. It's certainly how he says it...not what he says.stlouie_lipp wrote:Think about it, maybe you'll understand.GatewaySnayke wrote:Well, I'd hope he and you know...every single politician ever talk well.BW23 wrote:Talk is the reason Obama is where he is.
