I still can't get over those dumb protesters. This sums things up nicely:
9:27 CDT: [Sean] Wow, the protestors are dumb. Way to achieve the opposite of what you intended – making McCain a sympathetic figure. It’s a gift – handing McCain a “bigger than it all” moment.

For President of the United States? I guess I'd flip a coin.JG1982 wrote:If you had McCain, the POW, and Obama, the community organizer, and that's all you knew about them...which would you vote for?
Point being, I'd rather McCain have POW on his resume then what Obama has on his
And McCain isn't where he is just because he was a POW, but because he was a POW who was the son of a very important military senior commander. Not all POWs were on the evening news and cover of Time Magazine. I'm not taking his service away from him, nor his accomplishments as a Senator. I'm just saying that's how his career in politics got started.

I would vote for the guy who has been successful in what he has done.JG1982 wrote:Well let's put it this way folks, and I know this is (thankfully) not how it works..Socnorb11 wrote:InvincibleCakeEater wrote:And McCain's reason for where he is is...?BW23 wrote:Talk is the reason Obama is where he is. He'd make a great preacher or motivational speaker. At least he has a future.
He's a POW. Maybe you haven't heard.

Ok Socnorb, we get it, you don't think being captured in wartime and tortured is an important thing in someones life. Why don't you take Obama's lead and take the high road that keeps being mentioned.Socnorb11 wrote:InvincibleCakeEater wrote:And McCain's reason for where he is is...?BW23 wrote:Talk is the reason Obama is where he is. I haven't bought into anyone's notion. I guess being a state senator is nice and all. And most of his work as a U.S. Senator is running for president. When you speak well, sometimes you get places. Obviously.Socnorb11 wrote:So you've bought into the Republican notion that Obama's 16 years of service are meaningless?BW23 wrote:Talk is the reason Obama is where he is. He talks well. That's it. Motivation is a good thing, especially when you believe in what you're preaching.
16 years of "service". I guess you've bought into the liberal media.
I'm glad he believes in what he's preaching. I'd rather someone believe in what they say, even when they're wrong, than to lie. I'm just not buying what he's preaching.
Not a word.

He's losing about 3,000 votes because his tie isn't straight.
